Paychex Gets Bifurcated Trial In Premier Mortgage Funding FLSA Suit

Paychex Business Solutions Inc. has been granted a separate trial on whether it can be considered an employer under the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) in a collective action brought against the employee-leasing company by former loan officers at Premier Mortgage Funding Inc. The case, Vondriska v. Cugno, et al., Case No. 8:2007cv01322, is pending in the District Court for the Middle District of Florida.
